A new service opened recently at the Farm provides individual, couple and family guidance, intended to complement the therapy that the children receive in therapeutic horseback riding and animal-assisted therapy.

We often encounter many difficulties during the course of raising our children. Therapeutic horseback riding or animal-assisted therapy can indeed be effective in solving the child's problems.

But the child is a part of the family system and any change that he undergoes requires the family's change and cooperation with helping the child cope with his problems.

When the family is committed and responsible and takes part in coping with the child's difficulties a real process of change is created that can lessen and solve the child's and his family's difficulties. Guidance is offered by a certified social worker (BSW, MSW) that specialized in Social Work Practicum. She completed the integrative track at the school of psychotherapy and is certified for individual, couple and family therapy.
